Program description
When you request a tow on Towhub, we text the mobile number you provide with updates about that request: quotes are ready, the company you chose has accepted, the driver is on the way or on scene, the job is complete, and your receipt. Tow companies on Towhub receive texts about new jobs and dispatch. These are transactional messages tied to a request you made or a job you're doing.
Consent
You consent to receive these texts when you submit a request with your mobile number, create an account, or (for tow companies) list your company and enter a dispatch number. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase — you can request a tow and coordinate by phone instead by contacting the company directly after choosing a quote.
Frequency
Message frequency varies by job. A typical tow sends 4–7 messages between request and receipt. We don't send marketing texts. [DECISION: if promotional texts are ever added, they require separate opt-in.]
Cost
Message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt out
Reply STOP to any Towhub message to stop receiving texts. You'll get one confirmation message. If you opt out during an active job, the tow company can still call you, and you can follow the job on the tracking link. Reply START to opt back in.
Help
Reply HELP to any message, email support@towhub.co, or visit towhub.co/legal.
