Not receiving offers
Work down the setup checklist on the dispatch board; it's the same list we check:
- Approval — a Towhub admin has to approve the company after reviewing licensing and insurance. Status is on the dispatch header.
- Licensing current — an expired document pauses offers automatically. Licensing page shows what's expired.
- Accepting jobs switch on.
- Prices set for the vehicle types you tow, and a service area that covers where the requests are.
- A truck whose class fits — a customer with an EV only sees companies with a flatbed.
- Strikes — three late cancellations in 30 days pause offers for 24 hours; the attention strip says so.
Alerts are silent
Browsers only play sound and show notifications after you've allowed them: tap Alerts off to turn them on and accept the permission prompt. Chrome also mutes sound on tabs you haven't interacted with — click anywhere on the board once after opening it. Keep the tab open; a closed tab gets no alerts (drivers and staff with the installed app get push instead).
"That offer is no longer open"
The customer picked someone else, cancelled, or the offer window passed. It disappears from the board on its own; nothing to do.
Can't assign a driver
They need to be on the Crew page as a driver (owners and dispatchers can add themselves). Greyed-out drivers are off shift or on another job — you can still pick them.
A job is stuck in a status
Statuses only move forward. If a driver tapped the wrong one, add a note on the job saying so; the record is honest and support can see it. To end a job that won't be completed, use Cancel with a reason.
Payouts show $0
Card jobs pay out once Stripe Connect is connected on the Payouts page. Until then, completed jobs accrue and pay when it's connected.
