First check: is the address bar https://
Browsers only share location on secure pages. If you opened Towhub from a link that starts with http:// (not https://), location is blocked by the browser, not by us. Open https://towhub.co instead.
"Location permission was denied"
You (or the phone) said no once, and the browser remembers.
- iPhone, Safari: Settings → Safari → Location → Ask or Allow. Then also Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Safari Websites → While Using.
- iPhone, installed app (home screen icon): Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → find Towhub (or Safari Websites) → While Using.
- Android, Chrome: tap the lock icon in the address bar → Permissions → Location → Allow. If the toggle is greyed out: Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions → Location.
- Desktop: click the lock/tune icon left of the address → Site settings → Location → Allow.
Reload the page after changing it.
"Couldn't determine a position" or it times out
GPS needs sky. Step outside a garage, away from the building, and try Use my location again. If you're in a parking structure, type the address instead — the driver navigates to the address on the job, not to your dot.
The dot is in the wrong place
On a laptop, "location" is a guess from Wi-Fi and can be a mile off. Type the address. On a phone, give it ten seconds outdoors; the first fix is rough and tightens.
You don't have to use it
Typing an address, an intersection, or a landmark works exactly as well. Location is a shortcut, not a requirement. See My address isn't in the list.
