Help · Running a tow company on Towhub

Getting listed and approved

Onboarding, licensing and insurance, the approval gate, and your public profile.

Listing takes ten minutes; approval takes a person

Go to List your company and enter the business, a phone dispatch answers, and your service area. Then, from your dispatch board, work through the setup checklist — it tracks your progress and tells you what's next.

What we verify before you get offers

Every region has licensing rules; in Washington that's your WSP tow operator registration, any city licenses where you work (Seattle has its own), and insurance — liability, on-hook/cargo, garage-keepers. Upload each on the Licensing page with its expiry date. A Towhub admin checks them and approves the company. Expired documents pause offers automatically until you upload the renewal.

What customers see

Your public profile (towhub.co/companies/your-name) shows your logo, brand color, tagline, about text, service area on a map, ratings from Towhub and Google, the services you take, and your locations. Fill it in under Settings → Brand — companies with a real logo and a sentence about themselves get chosen more. Your crew's photos and titles show on the tracking page when they're assigned.

Accepting jobs

The Accepting jobs switch on the dispatch board controls whether you're quoted at all. Turn it off when you're full; turn it on when a truck frees up. Nothing else changes.

Every company gets a direct link (towhub.co/book/your-name). A customer who books through it sees only your price, and the platform fee on that job is 4% instead of 12%. Put it on your website, your Google listing and your trucks. See Phone jobs and your booking link.
