Fees
- Marketplace jobs — a customer found you on Towhub: 12% of the price before tax. Card processing is included; nothing else.
- Phone jobs and booking-link jobs — your own customers: 4%.
- Business-account jobs — shops, dealers, fleets: 10%.
The fee comes out of your side. The customer sees one price; you see your net on every quote and every job.
Payouts
You're paid through Stripe Connect — connect your bank once from Payouts. Card jobs pay out on Stripe's schedule (typically weekly) as price minus fee, plus the sales tax collected. Tips go to you in full.
Business-account jobs billed on invoice are paid to you when the business pays Towhub.
Tax
Towing is subject to sales tax in Washington. Every quote adds the rate for the pickup location as its own line, every receipt itemizes it, and the Tax export gives you collected tax by jurisdiction for your return. Remitting is your responsibility; Towhub gives you the numbers.
Exports and accounting apps
Exports has CSVs for jobs, payments, tax, hours, payroll, fleet, activity, and QuickBooks Online / Xero invoice-import files — one line per completed job with the customer, the itemization and the fee, so your books match your payouts.
Refunds and disputes
When Towhub refunds a customer after a dispute, the amount is reversed from your Stripe balance or deducted from a future payout. You'll always see the job record we relied on. See When a customer disputes a job.
